Jan is a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gdansk and renowned Sopot School of Photography WFH.

Since 2014 he is contributing to the press as well as working commercially. He was a staff photojournalist at the Gazeta Wyborcza in the years of 2015-2018 and he covered major news and editorial assignments in the Pomeranian region. 

Jan is a multiple laureate of Gdansk Press Photo competition (2016, 2017, 2019).
